Leather Care

If you want your leather goods to last a lifetime, it’s important to take care of them. While all our products arrive at your doorstep ready for use, regularly conditioning your leather goods will prevent drying out and cracking, and will ensure they remain supple and soft to the touch for years to come.

We recommend using Pure Neatsfoot Oil. Apply a small amount to your hands or a clean, dry rag and rub it in, using a circular motion, until the entire surface of your product is covered evenly. Wipe away any excess. Then let dry. (Do not use on suede or delicate leathers. They’re a whole ‘nother ball game.)

Condition every 6 months to a year, or as needed.

Lighter shades of leather will darken when wet, but color change will be minimal after drying (anyway, we love the looks of a healthy, conditioned piece of leather).
